Attack of the panoramas

Today was day of the panoramas. Besides going to class I had alot of extra time today to mess around and take some shots. I really want to master the art of panorama. and practice makes perfect. My nephew had baseball practice at the park next to my house and I had to drop something off to his Mom. From there I decided to whip out the camera for some more practice.

I stopped by NF and said hello to a few close friends I haven't talked to in awhile. I'm going to go hang out with them agian tomorrow. yes i have nothing to write about... weekdays are always so boring. Looking forward to shooting the Getty Museum again (The Getty Center - 3/9/07) on Saturday with my Nikon loving cousin Jeff. K I'm going to watch Night at the Museum and sleep.

Dj Jazzy Jeff - The Return of the Magnificent

The Return Of The Magnificent is the follow-up album to The Magnificent by DJ Jazzy Jeff, an African American hip-hop producer. This album, entirely produced by Jazzy, has guest appearances by up-and-comers and legends like Rhymefest, Posdnous, Method Man, and Big Daddy Kane. The album has also various clips in between songs. Still keepin it fresh with unique uptempo funky jazzy beats, still gets down behind the tables and tosses some indie hiphop’s finest to show listeners that he hasn’t lost his footing.
The Magnificent was phenomenal when it was released in 02, The Return definitely does not disappoint, another album to add to my classic collection, best release for 2007 so far. Yes this is 'Jazz' from the fresh prince of bel air, his career did not die it only grew. He is the man behind the music, the man behind the beats. You won't find him playing on your local radio hit station. Jeff Townes is one of the best producers/dj's alive today... People don't understand what a quality musician this guy is.
"With his lack of activity in the mainstream rap scene, some may think that Jazzy Jeff’s closest relevance to today’s entertainment scene is getting tossed out the Banks mansion by Uncle Phil on sitcom reruns."

Lakers OUT!!!

Today was another boring day. Typical school day... well after class i sat in my car and i just tried to do a really quick panorama shot. I bursted 5shots a second across in a 180 degree angle and then dragged it to a lower angle.
Here's the complete image
i used photoshop to puzzle it so if it looks ghetto that's why. :) i wanted to try something new.

I have a bad habit of taking shots while driving. I think talking on the cell phone and driving is 50% safer haha.

Sadly the Lakers were knocked out of the playoffs, but the interesting thing will be who's going to assist him to another championship. Only if it were Kevin Garnett.

Weekend overview

This weekend was incredible. Manuel, my nephews, and I left for the desert Friday afternoon around 4pm. It was about a 3 hour drive to spot we were going to camp at. When we arrived we met up with my brother’s fellow officers and partner from the LAPD. The weather was scorching and it was way too hot for me to leave the motor home, so I did not end up riding till Saturday. On Sunday we went on a 2hour ride around a canyon, and let me tell you… this was an actually CANYON.

I ride a Honda 400EX quad while everyone is on dirt bikes. During our Canyon run we were riding through trails and mountains that were only for bikes not quads haha. So there I am riding through some small trail dodging obstacles but damn… twas amazing. I will google-earth our ride path when I have a chance, so you can visualize of what we rode through. We arrived at home last night or this morning at 1am. I had a test business test today, and I’m not feeling very confident with my results :( and I have another test tomorrow at 8:30am so yeah I should sleep now. Been studying for a few hours.
