The Return Of The Magnificent is the follow-up album to The Magnificent by DJ Jazzy Jeff, an African American hip-hop producer. This album, entirely produced by Jazzy, has guest appearances by up-and-comers and legends like Rhymefest, Posdnous, Method Man, and Big Daddy Kane. The album has also various clips in between songs. Still keepin it fresh with unique uptempo funky jazzy beats, still gets down behind the tables and tosses some indie hiphop’s finest to show listeners that he hasn’t lost his footing. The Magnificent was phenomenal when it was released in 02, The Return definitely does not disappoint, another album to add to my classic collection, best release for 2007 so far. Yes this is 'Jazz' from the fresh prince of bel air, his career did not die it only grew. He is the man behind the music, the man behind the beats. You won't find him playing on your local radio hit station. Jeff Townes is one of the best producers/dj's alive today... People don't understand what a quality musician this guy is.
"With his lack of activity in the mainstream rap scene, some may think that Jazzy Jeff’s closest relevance to today’s entertainment scene is getting tossed out the Banks mansion by Uncle Phil on sitcom reruns."
